Radium Resort & Springs Courses now selling the Flex Card

Team Leaders at Bighorn Meadows Resort, Pearl Busch (pictured) and JoAnne Silgailis, spent the day at the Tourism Radium Holiday Market and Community Light-up selling baked goods from the Bighorn crew.  All proceeds raised from the bake sale were matched by Bighorn Meadows Resort Developer as well as the management company, True Key Hotels & Resorts.   These funds (over $1200) will be donated toward the local rally to raise $10,000 for typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines.  If the $10,000 can be raised by December 8th, the amount will be matched by the Canadian government.

Bighorn Sheep Viewing

Fall is here and our local resident sheep have returned to their peaceful home on The Springs golf course along Bighorn Meadows Resort. These majestic animals symbolize the rugged beauty and wildlife of the Rocky Mountains. During the Fall, Winter and Spring months, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep of the Radium-Stoddart herd are frequently seen in the Village of Radium Hot Springs and on neighbouring low elevation benchlands.

Jack & Jill Tournament A Success!

The mood was a little damp when the first 1:00 tee time was approaching, the sky turned grey and rain starting to roll in. But despite the rain, the golfers, who traveled from as far away as St. Andrews Manitoba, were dressed up and ready to play! Luckily the rain stopped after the first few holes and golfers were able to enjoy the day with a fun game of Texas Scramble (Best Ball) where each golfer was to hit their ball from each best shot, so it wasn’t too surprising when everyone came in with amazing scores.

Bighorn Bruisers in Invermere BC Pond Hockey

Once again, the Bighorn Bruisers charged onto the ice representing Bighorn Meadows Resort in the BC Pond Hockey Tournament on Lake Windermere in Invermere this past weekend. The event has grown from approximately 20 teams in 2012 to over 30 teams this year with 85% of registrants from out of town. The Bighorn Bruisers trampled their way into the semi finals in the 35+ Recreational Division but just missed out with a score of 18-15. A great time was had by all!
